Ready for Bag no. 3? 🙂
If you’ve been hanging out with me on social media, the blog title probably makes total sense for you!
Missed Bag No. 1 and Bag No. 2? No worries—check back my previous posts to catch up. 😉
Alright, let’s get to it—here’s Bag No. 3!

Let’s talk materials!
The outside is made with brown/caramel vinyl, and I added a pop of premium cotton in a botanical print for the accent. I used a combo of woven and non-woven fusible stabilizers on the exterior to give the bag its shape and sturdiness.
Inside, the bag is lined with soft brown cotton fabric that ties in nicely with the earthy tones of the exterior. To give the lining a bit more structure and durability, I fused it with a woven stabilizer—it helps the bag keep its shape without feeling too stiff. There is also an added zippered pocket on the inside to help keep your smaller items organized and easy to reach—because who doesn’t love a little extra storage? 🙂
For the hardware, I went with classic brass elements, including the zippers, pulls, and other details, to give the bag a timeless look with a bit of shine. The adjustable strap is made from a bright light brown nylon that’s sturdy, comfortable, and easy to customize for your perfect fit.
Let’s talk machines and tools!
I used a combination of my semi-industrial sewing machine (Sailrite LS-1) and my trusty domestic machine (Brother CS6000i) to make this bag. The domestic machine is mostly used for sewing the lining, while the semi-industrial machine takes care of the rest of the stitching, handling the heavier materials with so much ease.
I also used my rivet press from KAMsnaps to securely attach the rivets—it adds that extra bit of durability and a nice finish.
I always forget to snap photos while I’m sewing with my domestic machine or using my rivet press—those moments just fly by! But I’ll try to remember next time with the upcoming bags. :p
As I was going through my photos, I noticed I ended up recording more videos than taking actual pictures of this project! 🙂 I’ve already uploaded some fun reels and TikTok videos, so make sure to follow me on social media to check them out!
I used a pattern from Bagstock Designs (Sunshine Crossbody Pouch) for this bag—can you believe it’s free? Her instructions are super detailed and easy to follow, which makes the whole process so enjoyable. I honestly love sewing her patterns! Check her out, she has lots of beautiful bag patterns.
That’s it for Bag No. 3! I had so much fun putting this one together—from picking the materials to the final stitch. I hope you enjoyed this little behind-the-scenes look as much as I enjoyed making it.
